Who are we?

We are a community of makers

If you are a maker, you should join us and help create one or more makerspaces in the Niagara Region.

The objective of this group is to find existing makerspaces and to help create new ones to enable creative individuals to make what they can imagine.

St Catharines Public Library

3D printing is open to the public at the Central Library. Bring in your 3D design file (.stl, .obj or .thing) on a USB drive and staff will print it for you. Cost of printing is $5.00 plus HST for all prints up to and including 30 grams of filament, plus an additional $0.15 for each additional gram.


Niagara Furniture Bank

Niagara Furniture Bank is building a community woodworking workshop in downtown St Catharines.


Niagara Tool Library

Tom Jakop is creating a tool library and needs your help. Please complete his survey.


Buffalo Lab

A community workshop where you can learn from others, make things and play with technology, art, science, food and more! Located in The Foundry.


Hamilton Tool Library

A tool library with a long list of tools to lend. A makerspace is coming soon.


The Exploratory

Niagara College Digital Media Lab and Makerspace. For students, faculty and staff only.


Brock Library

Brock University library has a 3D printer for use by students. A community makerspace is being planned.
